(1 Peter 1:1-2)
1 Peter, an apostle
of Yeshua Messiah, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia,
Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through
sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of
Yeshua Messiah: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. (1 Peter 1:1-2)
the strangers... through sanctification of the Spirit -
19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the
countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my
holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are
gone forth out of his land.
21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned
among the heathen, whither they went.
22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not
this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye
have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen,
which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I
am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their
eyes.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all
countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all
your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an
heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. (Ezek. 36:19-27)
unto obedience -
4 Hear, O Israel:
The LORD our God is one LORD:
5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of
them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and
when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as
frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
(Deut. 6:4-9)
28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and
perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first
commandment of all?
29 And Yeshua answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O
Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first
commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:28-31)
sprinkling of the blood of Yeshua Messiah - Yeshua is the last
Adam: "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living
soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit." (1 Cor. 15:45)
In name of Adam there is a word "dam" (blood). We see in name
of Adam many centuries before the arrival of Messiah there was a hint to
redemption!
