BE STICKED TO GOOD !!!

One day one man came. We opened with him a book of Isaiah, 1 chapter, and read these lines:
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.  – (Isaiah, 1:13).

Yes, God was against the FACADE!

16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.  (Isaiah, 1:16-20)

We were simply struck: how these words are actual today! Frequently in different religions we see many rituals. And somehow we forget the main thing. Main thing is that the people also must to change, to leave "OLD FERMENT " and to became the NEW PASTE! People must cease to drink, fornicate, to do evil! How many people have went out from Egypt and how many from them had come in the Promised Land? And why?

Many think Bible was written for a long time and now all is in another way. Alas! Prophecies come true today too, for example:

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (Matthew, 24:12)

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy, 3: 1-5)

Do we observe this today?..

I believe in God because I AM SURE THAT THERE IS GOD!!!

In one Jewish newspaper I read a poem of Jury Levitanskiy, it seems. I like it very much:

EVERYONE CHOOSES FOR HIMSELF

THE WOMAN, RELIGION, WAY.

EVERYONE CHOOSES FOR HIMSELF

TO SERVE TO THE DEVIL OR TO THE PROPHET.

Only it is necessary to write - God instead of "the prophet'' .

If God imposed to us everything, what for have He given the commandments?

Had God forced Adam and Eva to eat a forbidden fruit? Not, satan had tempted Eva. Let's read these lines from Genesis, 3 chapter:

1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Eva (and then - Adam) have believed to serpent but not to God. God had given freedom to the people, He did not impose His will. And how people have taken advantage of this freedom -  they have not obeyed God.

To whom shall we - today's descendants of Adam and Eva - be serve?

To what shall we be sticked - to good or to evil?

Can we beware of different "liberties" of this world - from a deceit, from doubtful deals, from all what God hates?

But when we feel ourselves badly we address to God. Hardly having slipped we speak: "Oh, my God! " But will He listen us if we don't listen Him when all is ok with us? To believe in God is to fulfill His commandments not only on holidays, on Sundays or on Saturdays but each day, each hour, each minute. And it is difficult! Devil tempts us constantly. He offers to receive a heap of money without the big work or to receive a good post with help of a bribe or ...

Yes, to believe is TO BE STICKED to God. And faith is not only words but also acts, good acts! "... faith without works is dead...", apostle James spoke.

18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.- (1 John, 3:18).

Please read too these lines:

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. (1 John, 4:20,21)
