The prophecies
which came true in Yeshua (Jesus)
6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou
shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the
preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that
thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. (Isaiah 49:6) Messiah must be:
- a descendant of the
tribe of Judah 10 The sceptre shall not
depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and
unto him [shall] the gathering of the people [be]. (Gen 49:10) - a descendant of tsar
David via the paternal line 11 And it shall come to pass, when
thy days be expired that thou must go [to be] with thy fathers, that I will raise
up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his
kingdom. (1Chr 17:11) About the birth of Yeshua (Jesus) 6 For unto us
a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his
shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6) 2 But thou,
Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out
of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings
forth have been from of old, from everlasting. (Micah 5:2) About time of coming 25 Know
therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to
restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven
weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the
wall, even in troublous times. (Daniel 9:25) If we 69
weeks (69*7=483 years) add to the year when there was the the commandment to restore
and to build Jerusalem, then we come to 1 century when Yeshua came. About price -
30 pieces of silver - which they weighed for Him 12 And I said
unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they
weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. (Zechariah 11:12) 16 For dogs
have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my
hands and my feet. (Psalms 22:16) 10 For thou
wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see
corruption. (Psalms 16:10) 36 Master,
which is the great commandment in the law?
5 ... he was wounded for our transgressions, he was
bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and
with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
Messiah is a light to all people
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;
Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name
Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:14)
About place of the birth
About His death
and resurrection
Yeshua (Jesus) gave His life for us we
would have eternal life. What must we do now? We must believe in Him and do as
He did.
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the
Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
mind.
38 This is the first and great
commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the
law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:36-40)
