"...I am the way, the truth, and the life..."

We can read in TaNaKh:

(Prov 21:2)  Every way of a man [is] right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

There is one true way only. Yeshua said:

(John 14:6)  ...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Yeshua said the words which were understandable to his disciples. The Torah scroll (which is read in synagogue) in the unfolded state is the way. It is the true way that leads to life. The Torah scroll which is written on parchment has two wooden poles called "Etz Chaim" ("The Tree of Life").

142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy Torah (law) is the truth. (Psalms 119:142)

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (John 17:17)

Yeshua Himself is the living Torah!

1. Yeshua is the Way (Derekh in Hebrew).

Moshe (Moses) asked Hashem to show him G-d's way:

(Exod 33:13)  Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy people.

We can read in Tehilim (Psalms):

(Psalms 16:11)  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.

(Psalms 32:8)  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

The Way of Hashem is perfect

(Psalms 18:30)  [As for] God, His way [is] perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: He [is] a buckler to all those that trust in Him.

The Way of Hashem is holy

(Psalms 77:13)  Thy way, O God, [is] in the sanctuary: who [is so] great a God as [our] God?

Isaiah said:

(Isaiah 40:3)  The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Malachi prophesied:

(Mal 3:1)  Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Yeshua is the Way leading to the Life!

2. Yeshua is the Truth

Greek work ''aletheia'' in John 14:6 is translated too as ''verity''.

In TaNaKh we can read about the truth, the verity of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses (Moshe), Gideon, Samuel (Shmuel), David, Isaiah... Yeshua has these traits. Yeshua is the Truth, the Verity!

3. Yeshua is the Life

Yeshua said:

(John 10:10) I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

It said not only about life but about life with abundance, about life in in its entirety!

Greek word ''perissos'' translated as ''more abundantly'' we can translate too as ''especial'', ''unusual''. Yeshua have come in order to give us especial life, unusual life!

What is ''life more abundantly''? To live with abundance is to go after Yeshua:

(John 10:9) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Life with abundance is salvation, an eternal life!

Yeshua said too: ''... no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.''

(Acts 4:12)  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The way to G-d is through Yeshua.

(1John 4:9)  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

BEN - SON

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Gen. 1:1)

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. (Rev. 22:21)

Scripture begins with the letter "bet": Bereishit - In the beginning (Gen. 1:1) and ends with "nun" in the word "Amen" (Revelation 22:21)

If we unite "bet" and "nun", we get - "ben" (son).

All Scripture tells us about Yeshua (Jesus)!

DERECH ETZ HACHAIM

Gen 3:22  And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Gen 3:23  Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Gen 3:24  So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Hashem had a wonderful plan for all people - Derech Etz Hachaim (the Way of the tree of life):

Heb 9:1  Then verily the first [covenant] had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
Heb 9:2  For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein [was] the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
Heb 9:3  And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
Heb 9:4  Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein [was] the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
Heb 9:5  And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
Heb 9:6  Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service [of God].
Heb 9:7  But into the second [went] the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and [for] the errors of the people:
Heb 9:8  The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Heb 9:9  Which [was] a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
Heb 9:10  [Which stood] only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed [on them] until the time of reformation.
Heb 9:11  But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Heb 9:12  Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us].

Messiah Yeshua is this way, the living Torah!

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Talmidim of Yeshua were the Way of God (Acts 18:26, 19:9).

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (Hebrews 10:19-20)

Rev 22:1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Rev 22:2  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.

Rev 22:13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Rev 22:14  Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Rev 22:16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.
Rev 22:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

HAVE WE BOLDNESS?

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:29-31)

12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (Eph. 3:12)

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, (Eph. 6:19)

20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. (Phil. 1:20)

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, (Hebrews 10:19)
