2 |
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring Me an
offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take
my offering. |
(Exod. 25:1-2)
bring – take (in Hebrew: ikhu). Hashem tells just this word – take. Believers need to understand they give that they received from God. Too they need to do this WILLINGLY.
an offering – in Hebrew: trumah from “ram” (high) and “learim” (to lift). Trumah is an offering which must be raised in a spiritual sense.
and have them take for Me: Heb. לִי. [I.e.,] dedicated to My name.
